The Forest Moon Festival at the Sun Lodge Farms Inc. in beautiful Nakusp, British Columbia is seeking submissions by Artists, Artisans and Food Vendors to participate in the “Vendors Village” at this event.

This Electronic Music Event is the kickoff to festival season and promotes safe fun for adults 19 years of age and older. With DJ’d music to interactive Theme Camps, your art, products & food will be available to all attendees.

Starting at $75 for Artists & Artisans, and $300 for Food Vendors, you receive an area in the Vendors Village, 1 additional ticket into the event and a campsite within the Vendors’ area. This is an excellent value and space is limited!

details

Please read this information. It is important.

Entrance Procedure

Be sure to have your ticket and ID ready when you arrive.  The highway must not have any lane stopped for a line-up, so we process people quickly at the Main Gate. However, this doesn't mean the entrance procedure is over.

Security at Entry

Every vehicle is subject to a security search upon entering and exiting the premises. If you leave the event, you are allowed to re-enter, but security will be obliged to stop and search your vehicle again, each time. Also, the R.C.M.P will be performing traffic stops on the Highways within their jurisdiction and at their discretion.

Standard Waiver

Every person that attends the Forest Moon Festival must sign a waiver before entrance is permitted. This is regardless of their role within or for the event. The waiver will be supplied as you move through the Main Gate and then, once you give your ticket but before you receive your wristband, you must sign the waiver.  We do not reimburse ticket sales if you choose not to sign the waiver. It is a standard waiver releasing Sun Lodge Farms Inc., Lone Tree Events Inc. and the Forest Moon Festival from any and all liabilities from your attendance. Watch the website for links to the waiver.

Parking

Parking is separate from the camping area. This is due to the land and conditions. We charge a $25 parking fee for the event for the purpose of restoration and not as a cash grab. If you car-pool, the amount can be shared by everyone in the vehicle. We have made every possible attempt to enable you to drop off your camping gear as close to the camp area as possible so as to make transporting it faster and easier. Please be patient.

RVs are welcome, and will be parked in another area, but please note that no traditional RV amenities are  available.

Wristbands

Everyone at the Forest Moon Festival receives and MUST WEAR their wristband.  Those without wristbands will be stopped by Security and removed from the event.  If you accidently lose your wristband you must go to the "Vendor Village Info Booth" and provide your ID, whereupon another wristband will be provided upon verification of your ticket purchase. If you are not the ticket purchaser, then you must provide the name of the ticket purchaser and the verification number for the ticket in order to stay at the event. Be sure to have this information before arriving. The wristbands are made of a strong and durable paper to lessen all chances of allergic reaction. In the event of a reaction to the wristband please visit the "Vendor Village Info Booth" for assistance.

Rules & Safety
Keeping our guests safe is a responsibility, an obligation and our mandate.
We have hired a Security Force who are all trained and certified. Security will be in uniform and plain clothes. Our goal is to have more than is necessary for the duration of the event.

Alcohol & Other Substances

There is to be NO alcohol at The Forest Moon Festival. Although we don’t catch everything that comes through the gates, security will have full permission to dump any alcohol they see. So if you're silly enough to walk around with beer, cooler bottles, premium alcohol containers they will be confiscated.

What is Banned?
Alcohol
Illegal Substances
Glass Containers
Generators (unless in Vendors Village)
Weapons
Fireworks
Camp Fires (3 bonfires per night - in separate locations each night - will be provided)

Pets
Pets are not allowed at the The Forest Moon Festival. You might see a few dogs around, however Sun Lodge Farms property is their home.

Being Smart and Being Safe

  1.   Don’t bring valuables.
  2.   Stay in groups and be tolerant of people slowing you down. Just enjoy going with the flow.
  3.   Festivals are busy places so don’t be irritated by being pushed or someone stepping on your toes.
  4.   Don’t leave your drink unattended. Even soft drinks can be spiked.
  5.   Remember, alcohol or drugs can affect your ability to make safe judgments -
and they are banned from the The Forest Moon Festival.
  6.   Check your mobile is charged on a daily basis. (Wifi is not accessible at Sun Lodge Farms,
however Telus cellular service is well within range. Other services may not be available.)
  7.   If you have any concerns about your safety in the campsites, find an onsite security guard or
      volunteer. Always ask for help.
  8.   Make friends with your neighbors. It’s nice to meet new people, and you can keep an eye on each
others tents. However, keep in mind that they’re strangers, so don’t trust them with anything
      valuable.
  9.   At night, stay on the main roads in the campsites. Don’t go exploring darker, quieter areas.
There are areas of the property that are off limits. Stay within the festival grounds at all times.
  10.   Organize a meeting point with your friends where you will be three times a day (e.g. 2pm, 6pm
and 1am) in case you get split up.
  11.   Don’t leave anything valuable in your car. Leave your glove compartment empty and open.
Check on your vehicle regularly during the festival. It's a great place to charge your mobile.
  12.   Split your cash and cards into two stashes so that if one lot is lost or stolen, you have some
      back-up money.
  13.   ATM's will be present at the Festival's Vendor Village
  14.   Don’t put a padlock on your tent as this will invite thieves.
  15.   Don’t leave any valuables inside your tent when you step-away. Store your valuables well at night
      in separate stashes.
  16.   Don’t bury your valuables by your tent as someone may be watching.
  17.   To make life harder for thieves, leave your tent untidy so that there is no obvious bag to grab
      quickly.
  18.   Bring only the cash cards you need. Make a note of your bank’s emergency number to call if your
      cards are stolen.
  19.   If you need medicines with you onsite, keep them with you or keep them in a secure place.
